calm after changes

What a pleasant week. It is sort of like sunshine after the storm or maybe it is the eye of the storm? I am back from Italy (last week) for work and off to Malaysia (next week) and though it sounds like a lot of travels, things are calming down. No kidding! It was a little nerve-wracking to juggle with multiple job offers and still invest 100% into my current work. You can't play both parts all that long. Last Monday, I just went for it - I responded to the offer and faxed the contract back to my new employer and resigned within 2 hours. It was a no-brainer: multinational, growth opportunities, multilingual, travel, ok salary. It has been a tremendous learning experience here on several levels but hey, I am ready for a new challenge and for such an awesome opportunity starting November 1! Before beginning, I need to block out my excitement to start elsewhere and concentrate on handing over. Yikes - I'm gonna miss so many people here. Next week, I'll be able to take at least some distance (10 days worth) in Kuala Lumpur whilst translating at the Young Leaders' Gathering 2006 - yeay tickets came through! It's final! What a privilege. Thanks for thinking of me Andy! Wow, so much happening I almost forget I have a blog. Thanks for reminding me to update you ;) - I have been sooo bad. Forgive me?
