Well Mr Rogers,
.
You were right, it was sure a beautiful day in the neighborhood today. In fact, the midday weather was gorgeous. Shame I had such a bad headache, because I would have loved to challenge this frail body with a good cardio. Headache is easily explained - comes from the feeling of being a live wet mop, forcefully dragged in and out of smelly buckets for almost a week. Homemade metaphor dare I add. Interesting opportunities at work are creating new dynamics in current relations, momentum, foci - and the feeling of being "doomed if you do, doomed if you don't" are doing my head in. Quite literally.
.
I knew I would need to fall on my knees and ask God how to deal with the situation and what answer to give come Monday. Cause it is too big a can of worms for me. But I didn't quite measure up the amount of energy this thing drained out of my body.
.
I found that out quickly when I woke late this morning. Just enough time to race around to the house to meet the renters. Nuts, they were there before me. Gosh, they seem like great people but boy were they demanding. And so they should be - it's my guarantee that they expect to live in a nice place and chances are, they'll keep it like that. I guess I just wasn't expecting them to ask to break walls and stuff.
.
After they left, I dealt with exciting key copying activities (imagine paying over fifty bucks in the US for two measly sets!) and knocked myself out breaking a wall storage cupboard thing bigger than myself - with the help of the agent. Rather shocked by the real estate agent's gaul in asking if he could have the slide, the sandbox and some other toys, I allowed his eagerness to work for us both in another marvellous win/win plan:
Sure, you take the toys for your grandchildren and help me get rid of some random left-behinds (garage cupboards x 2, roll down shutters, old ciment, broken garden tools, broken chairs, lamps, broken satellite dish, bamboo sticks and the rest).
The head clamp thing having subsided a few hours after I arrived home, I fit in some strangely calming ironing whilst watching ProChrist brodcasted live from Munich. Seems like they are doing some great stuff and it gives me some good ideas for our French group. Andy is interpreting in Munich, but I haven't been able to hear him yet. I think tomorrow evening is the last night to join in at 7.50pm Paris time. .
Speaking of time, time to change the clocks..
.
Oops, that would make it 2:15am.. better get in some "catch eye" for now.
.
I would greatly appreciate your prayers if you have a free moment.

Have to change clocks, eh? Fortunately, they don't do that over here in Asia, same time year-round. Makes sense, doesn't it?

No daylight savings? Serious? Crazy that! I must say, to see the evenings getting longer and lighter is a great feeling. Winter was great, esp. for your skiing escapades. But, bring on the summer! ;) *
