chicks n' chicken

Great girlie evening last night at Whitney's. The roads were slick and snowy through Cessy and Gex - but it was worth the trip. After an amazing chicken curry, we slouched down on the couch by the fire and just gabbed until the wee hours of the morning under some blankets. Our conversation was so deep and so special - I found myself thinking how eligible all these girls are for some lucky guys. Yet, all of them found themselves sharing about their contentment in singlehood - so refreshing!

Speaking of guys, my guys are going to rock up Tuesday night after I come back from track/athletics (instead of Friday night). This was sort of unexpected since I am still working all week, but I guess they can do some day trips until I can make myself free to spend time with them. It's a pretty long way from Fulda, and after the way they took care of me like a little sis' when I was there, I feel they deserve some special treatment.

Tonight is Shema again. Shame they couldn't be there for the gathering. Typical postmodern topic: "Chrisitanity: a powertrip?" Should be good - come if you can! Maybe I can squeeze a run and a sleep in before then..
