Just had today off so we skipped over to Italy for the day. Not much more than an hour drive from our place. As you can notice in the pictures, the Mont-Blanc looks totally different from the Italian perspective. Dad wanted us to feel treated and make the day memorable, so we had some real Italian food, ice-cream and coffee with a view. Nice way to celebrate the new year before we go back our own ways..

For sure, these are some of the joys of living in Europe.
