"On Shoes and Another Opportunity
At the last Gathering, we challenged people to donate the shoes they were wearing that night to a good cause and walk home barefoot! That's right - we wanted people to ask how tied they are to their possessions when asked to give them up. And many responded! And a few others gave generous donations as well.
So if you've been thinking about giving away any pairs of shoes, or keep looking in your closet at shoes you'd like to give away, bring them to the next Gathering! We'll still pack them up and ship them out to the Shoes for Orphan Souls campaign in Romania."
