girlies still near genoa

Today was a marvellous day in a splendid country. We spent it in some of the cities of the Cinque Terre. We enjoyed a beautiful meal - and good thing, since it was impossible to find a nice restaurant to treat my mom in the part of Genoa we are staying in. Couldn't believe it. So, we think we will have tasted the best and the worst of Italian cuisine. The latter being a little self-service cafeteria on the Corte Lamburscini - definitely not worth going to. Otherwise though, the day has been wonderful with many memories built. Could tell mom enjoyed herself since she chatted with all the English tourists on the way to one of the cities: a sign she feels right at home. :) Pix coming soon - but not from the reception of this hotel.
