slow summer

Well, that was the end of another week. Time to check out the new teaching on my absolute favorite hillsongs site whilst I catch up here. Negotiations were interesting this week. Here is another key I forgot to mention: dress the part. If you are dealing with a mecanic, you might have to avoid the suit. And you better not forget the latter if you are dealing with a business man! I enjoyed the meeting utterly - a whole lot more than the rest of 'em! lol! We had a few lined up and another few cancelled because of vacations. Here in Europe, normal business procedures slow way down to the summer sailing pace. Holiday mode! We are unfortunately compelled to avoid our French suppliers like the plague at the moment, who are particularly bad at fast business over the summer months due to extensive holiday stints and over-time catch-up. In fact, some businesses close down for a whole month or two - but it works nationally since everyone knows what to expect over the Summer. Poor hospitals though. Poor economy!

But we love the French for many other reasons. ;)

I just got home and watered the most thirsty geraniums ever - both me and them have been sweating all day - all week in fact! But a storm is brewing now, drowning my poor flowers. Check it out - view from my balcony. And it is chilly out there: perfect for non-air con. offices.
