re-recording
Got to record again - this time it was quite the creative thing to record in the studios (yeah right): our answering message! I went back today after having recorded the message on Tuesday to add a second version to the company portfolio: the message played on public holidays. My brief was: "Don't make your voice sound too sexy, ok?" Interesting - I never considered my voice to be "sexy". Whatever, it was great fun and I gell with the studio team really well too. These guys still have my business card from January's recording for their address book and to call on me for future radio spots etc.

um.....I've had the same comment before (shhh) Apparently there were some individuals in the company who would call me directly (for computer support) because of my particular (um) tonage :) - I've never tried to sound like that...I guess it's just my phone voice...I'm off the helpdesk these days and spend less time troubleshooting with people on the phones and more opening machines up and repairing them... so I'm going to have to find another "pull". What say you little miss marketing guru?

Little miss so-called "marketing guru" would suggest migrating the "pull" efforts to the "push": instead of receiving a call, you might just find yourself having to talk to your good pc friends. Never know, you might find your friends highly cooperative at the sounds of your cracking voice. You see, its true: 'Everyone is a Marketeer' :) *
