.
It continues to rain in the land of the cow bells.
Arriving home, I feel the pain of my stomach and the strong smells.
.
What is the stench?
Why do I feel such a belly wrench?
Why, it must the puddle, which became a lake.
True, triangular - for a lake - it looks quite fake.
Euph', call the owner for goodness sake!
.
Well not yet, lil' pet...
Haven't quite got around to making the little boat.
But if you look properly, why it looks like there's a moat.
.
Okay, fine, I'll phone,
turn the music down a tone...
.
The owners just had to laugh whilst I chose to gasp..
"smelly water is going to come in, is that just fine??"
(that was Euph', by the way, sharing her mind)
"call the concierge at anytime"
(and that was the wife trying to be kind)
.
*no duh*
.
So, whilst the waters rise,
I feel somewhat like Noah and his wife:
I sense the urgency:
Euph', change the insurance policy!
.
The murky brown does makes me frown.
Soon though I may see a frog appear on a log.
Why, what imagination Euphonies shares in this blog.
.
(In the meantime,
the waters continue to climb)
.

When the waters fearfully climb, you must act post haste...
When silence is short in supply a mime is a terrible thing to waste!
While all that is gold does not glitter or make gladder,
insurance gives peace of mind against liquid pitter patter...

Ah well, you see, 'twas this that I feared, that a poet may enter here.
True, I'd better change the old address on my policy,
This is when you move too much, you see?
How are you doing my friend? I'm alright at this end..
Seems I have a long email overdue,
so sorry that this is nothing new.
.. For now, I must get to bed or else tomorrow I will feel like stale bread.

Oops, just gave yourself away, mystery person :) and fan of AOL - so you are NOT German?
Besides non-German sentence order, "die Kinder" is the plural of das Kind. The dative case would take an "n", but then only then you would notice a transformation like "mit deN KinderN". A German would know this. (that was just a lesson for the day)
Still, you put a huge smile on my face. And your name is great! Thanks for stopping by!
