It is so exciting to be able to start to receive old (young) friends in my new environment. Jeanne, one of the girls from my Mulhouse masters' will be at palexpo for a work assignment and we are going to try to meet up over lunch. It tends to be a little difficult to organize lunch and evening plans around work schedule, but this has to be possible. Depending on the time she is ready, we can either eat around the airport in this direction. We might not have the time to have a tour of the city but I am excited to hear about her new life in the North of France. I wondered for a while how such a glamourous woman would choose to work so close to production/factory, selling industrial air filters, but she seems to be happy - good for her. Then again, I found myself to be excited about the prospects of selling hand pallet trucks almost this time last year, so why not! I love people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty (including myself - no, just kidding). Maybe if Jeanne is still around tonight, I can take her to the Ecole de Culture Générale where Loren Cunningham from YWAM is going to be speaking. I am sure she would love it and this would give her a chance to get away from a lonely evening in a hotel. I really want to go if I can finish everything at work first - I ran extra long yesterday knowing I probably wouldnt be able to do so today. In fact, I found a nice path behind Saint Julien, into the woods, around some bends, through the fields and finally leading to ... the main road. What an anti-climax! I was enjoying running in the valley below the mountains - practically just in my "backyard" - but seeing the main road was a bit rough. Still, I got some energy out, and that was so great. I dont know if it was due to gushing endorphins into my blood, racing around my body or what, but I got all giggly last night.

hi proper, it was indeed an excellent lunch with Jeanne. Thanks for that! It wasnt typically swiss. No Rösti, no raclette. The weather was quite nice too - the toilet seat wind situation would not have happened today! I remember! Hey, where is your blog??
