after the avalanche

It's a rainy day in Geneva but that far from mirrors what is in my heart. Deadline was met right on time yesterday, I only have one stye in my eye and Euph' even got to see the sunlight before leaving the office. What a privilege that is. I remember reading somewhere that 2mins of sunlight is important for the body and your well-being. My pale little figure has to agree with that statement. I jumped into the car and even had time to speed home before going to the house group. We had a nice evening together this Wednesday with an interesting discussion on work - more special than the debate was the time spent with others. Sure makes a change from the last few weeks, where my computer screen has been the most lively thing around to keep me company.
After a weary few days of flat out preparation, I am looking forward to several things - girlie lunch tomorrow with some colleagues in Business Services, dinner with friends on Friday, a day out with a former lecturer on Saturday - mountain touring, how fun! This is the calm after the storm, or rather, the light at the end of the dark tunnel. God is good!
