cool colleagues

After a tough meeting with on high, which lasted a few hours, I began to wonder how to process the information, which criticisms I can counter and what I can start to work on immediately. Management style is very unique and my new colleague is starting to find it interesting to say the least. Given this context, it is no breakthrough discovery to understand that the special pot of yoghurt was my special highlight of the day. Chrysante bumped into me in the hall and brought it to me stating “you are going to love this one. It is the best. Better than the caramel” (which she knows is my ultimate weakness). We have this thing about a certain brand of Swiss yoghurt, which is to die for. The product is expensive, but creamy and flavorful like none other. And it was great. Even sweeter was the intention, which truly hit me today, with the encouragement I could use.

My direct new colleague and I checked out of the office at an unusually early time for us. After putting a lot of work into projects and not always see the use, we decided to leave our confusion on the office desk and follow the lemmings to the international car show. We giggled like kids, who had run away from school. Wierd, seeing as most other colleagues depart around that time of day. Germans by the zillion were present at the car show, which is cool –in fact, I cannot believe just how many people were there. We don’t have the same tastes at all, so Tricia and myself looked at different things most of the time. Whereas she would go for the concept car or the top luxury roadsters, I would prefer a nice estate any day. I like the practicality of the larger vehicles. And nowadays, some estates are purely nice.
Lov’em.
“So, where are all the pick ups?!?” I asked frustrated after a while.

“Euph, I think you will need to see a truck show” I think she must be right.
We had enough few nice laughs together to relativize ... at least until tomorrow morning.
