c like chrysante

Interesting, isn't it? Some people seem more trustworthy than others right from the moment you meet them and others just ask to be kept at arms-length! At work, we most definitely have both type. Of course, more of the latter than of the first type. Needless to say, the people who you can trust in this world are as rare as pearls. I was reminded by this when stuck in a scam this week by some rip-offs! Chrysante is one of those special pearls - accessible to the lucky few, who get to work alongside her. She goes beyond the call of duty on many occasions and takes both family and work challenges very seriously. I often think of her as a superwoman and wonder how the little socks of all of her children get washed between the stresses of work, school pick ups and citizen devotion. Meet the working mom of 2005. This one is a young working professional and you would never know she too bears the responsibilities and burdens of a family life when you meet her. Here is the unique part - Chrysante is a woman of character so worth meeting and spending time with. Unfortunately those times have been limited for us two, due to various committments, which she follows through with like a pro. Yet in the rush of life, she will find time to support you, give you a warm smile and even check up on you. Not much for frivolous emotional outburts, she has a striking "under control" attitude about her at most times and still she can empathise so well. Hard to explain.

To the gem at work who oozes compassion, hides her pride, knows how to be real - I want to wish a very special birthday. You are a delight to have around and a spark to any gloomy day.

PS:I look forward to having lunch with you this week!
