small spaces

Odette fit into the smallest parking space possible last night. I giggled turned around once more to check out my work, secretly hoping someone would see me and think: “not bad, for a woman.” I must be part man to have these testosterone-filled thoughts. I ran back to the car after turning the corner to measure the excess space. Front and back combined, Odette fit in with no more than12 cms to spare – 6cm for each bumper. Impressed myself that time. For any good line parkers, I would be interested to know your records. Without touching other bumpers in the maneuvers, or else, you’re out :) . Ok, better get back to work.

Not bad... for a woman. ;)

    Seriously, well done!
Parking is not one of my skills.
Even the parking space at work (which is huge and on its own by the side of the office) I have problems getting into.
It's strange, if I reverse really quickly from one side of the car park to the other (at risk of hitting other cars on right) I seem to get it perfect every time first time. If I do the same thing slowly (so as not to risk hitting said cars) I always seem to hit the curb and have to maneuvre three more times to get in the space...

    Hmmm.

As you said, back to work... :(

    SC. :)

PS. It's great you've found somewhere to live too!
    Yes, God is good. :)

Hey, SC, everyone is wondering who you are. Sending me emails wondering if you were an ex UniS etc. :) Plenty of Brits here, more than American I think even. The church was mainly British at a first glimpse I think. Jobs here for pc geeks, yes, :) but you would have to live here and not THERE :)
PS: I love Odeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttte. Especially when she actually starts.

    Hey Euphonies!
    I thought you'd worked out who I am. :(
Well, no matter. I'm a completely unimportant person in Angleterre. ;)

I think by now I have realised that you love Odette. Must be a very special car. What kind of car is it... er, she... anyway?

    SC. :)
